Composed of five levels of steel structure, the Shanghai Matrix includes a children’s play area on the ground floor, featuring 16 different play projects designed for children under 140cm in height to enjoy with parental supervision; the second to fourth floors are adult climbing challenge levels, offering up to 96 climbing elements of varying difficulties for users to choose from based on their physical fitness; the top floor is the ‘Magic Sky Island’ observation platform, covering an area of 400 square meters, where visitors can take in the magnificent views of the cruise terminal and the ‘Golden Triangle’ of the Huangpu River. It also serves as an excellent outdoor venue for hosting fashion parties, art appreciations, outdoor weddings, and brand launches. In addition, the Shanghai Matrix offers specially designed popular features: a 40-meter long spiral ‘Crazy Slide’ that allows visitors to take in the views of Lujiazui and the Bund in just 15 seconds through its custom transparent body; a 15-meter high ‘Giant Swing’ that uses an electric motor to raise the swing to a high 50-degree angle, from which visitors can initiate a switch to trigger involuntary shouts and screams; and a ‘Low-Altitude Bungee Jumping’ from a height of five stories, using European harness rappel equipment, allowing visitors to simulate a bungee jump challenge by the Huangpu River, testing their courage and elevating their experience.
