Shanghai Oriental Geology Science Museum

The Shanghai Oriental Geology Science Museum is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national science education base as well as a thematic science education base in Shanghai. The museum is divided into eight major exhibition halls, including the Earth Hall, Mineral and Rock Hall, Paleontology Hall, and Gemstone Hall. It houses tens of thousands of rare and unique stones, mineral crystals, fossils, and gemstones collected from around the world. With its unique exhibitions of stones, natural science, and geological knowledge, it reveals the mysteries of the Earth and the wonders of nature. Opening hours: January 17th to February 8th, Tuesday to Wednesday, 08:30-16:30; February 9th to February 11th, closed on Friday to Sunday; February 12th to December 31st, 08:30-16:30. Preferential policy for children: free entry for those under 1.3 meters (inclusive).
