Rua de Alexandre Herculano – The Heart of Macau

Known as ‘Rua de Alexandre Herculano’ or ‘New Road’, it has always been the commercial, transportation, and tourism hub of Macau. This bustling avenue is home to many European-style buildings and retains some traditional Chinese architectural features. Along this road and its vicinity, numerous attractions can be found, including the famous St. Dominic’s Church, the Leal Senado Building, the Pawnbrokers’ Guild Exhibition Hall, the Holy House of Mercy Museum, and the Sound of Time Sound and Music Museum. The Ruins of St. Paul’s and the Macau Museum are also in close proximity. The operating hours and business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
