Ocean View Park, one of the ‘Eight Scenic Spots of the Sea’ in Hsinchu, is located to the north of the Environmental Education Center and has become an excellent sea viewing and leisure spot for the public. On the west side of the park stands the carp banner, a newly added landmark in the area. From a distance at Hsinchu Fishery Harbor, one can see the carp banners fluttering in the wind, warmly greeting visitors. As tourists arrive at this comfortable leisure area, they will find that it often serves as a venue for large-scale music concerts. The vast green lawns and landscape lights make it an ideal place for flying kites and taking a leisurely stroll. Every sunset leaves a memorable scene that is hard to forget and lingers in one’s heart. The park is open all year round, 24 hours a day.
