Established in January 1971, the Insect Museum of Chenggong High School originally began with a collection of insect specimens and materials by Teacher Chen Weishou. It has since transformed into a center for the research and protection of Taiwan’s butterfly resources. The museum currently houses approximately 30,000 specimens and provides rich biological resources for teaching in elementary and middle schools. Open year-round, Monday through Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00, the museum offers accessible services including accessible restrooms, parking, entrances, and restrooms.
