Bítóu Cape Lighthouse

The Bítóu Cape Lighthouse is situated at the northeastern tip of Bítóu Cape in Ruifang District, standing alone on a cliff where the Pacific Ocean and the East China Sea currents meet. Originally constructed in 1896, the lighthouse was destroyed by military aircraft during World War II and was reconstructed in 1971 to guide ships navigating the nearby waters. Despite the breathtaking scenery in this area, the path to the lighthouse has been closed due to frequent rockfalls, making it dangerous and inaccessible to tourists. The lighthouse is open all year round, with 24-hour accessibility.
