Qiongzhou Cultural Ambience Street, located next to the Hainan Flower World by the Nan Dujiang Old Iron Bridge on Binjiang Road, Haikou City, is adjacent to the picturesque Nan Dujiang, known as the mother river of Hainan. It is a 10-minute drive from Meilan Airport and situated at the core connection between Haikou Meilan Airport and Haikou city. This scenic spot is a key project supported by the provincial and municipal tourism commissions and is one of the main venues for the Haikou Fucheng Flower Exchange Festival. The street, 380 meters long, is planned to be an integrated Hainan ecological tourism and cultural theme park, featuring cultural performances, tourism, leisure, catering, folk museums, and folk culture inheritance. Within the scenic area, the ‘Doctor’s Mansion’ Qing Dynasty Home Art Museum is a museum that showcases the architectural art of Huizhou and Hainan’s folk culture. The building dates back to the end of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years. The plaque on the main gate, inscribed with ‘Scholarly Family,’ was personally written by Emperor Kangxi in the 46th year of his reign, making it 315 years old.
The Qiongzhou Cultural Ambience Street focuses on Hainan’s Li ethnic culture, with existing attractions such as the Qing Dynasty Home Culture and Art Museum, Li Pottery Museum (Pottery Art Museum), Hainan Treasure Museum, Ju Futang Cultural Museum, Hainan He Sheng Ge Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum, Li Ethnic Culture Corridor, Root Carving Art Exhibition, Stone Carving Art Exhibition, Coconut Carving Cultural Corridor, Li Ethnic Culture Photo Exhibition, Qiongzhou Cultural Sculpture, Dinosaur Park, Li Ethnic Wine Tasting, Unicorn Park, and various ethnic and Hainan local cuisines such as the Shepherd Mongolian Cuisine, Lotus Pond Mouth Internet Celebrity Restaurant, and Nan Dujiang Fishery No.1.
