Pingshan National Forest Park is located in Pingshan Forest Farm, within the jurisdiction of Luhe District, Nanjing City. The park features undulating hills covered with lush greenery, birds singing, and egrets dancing in the air. The tea gardens spread amidst the forest resemble a vast carpet, making it one of the largest and well-preserved forest farms in Luhe District. It represents a typical low mountain and hilly landscape with an excellent ecological environment.
Although Pingshan Mountain is not particularly high, it offers numerous peaks for visitors to explore. Notably, the newly constructed ‘Ping’an Tower’ on the eastern peak stands at a height of 58 meters. South of the tower lies the expansive Pingshan Reservoir. On a clear day, one can even catch a glimpse of the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge from the tower. The park is open year-round from 09:00 to 17:00.
