Nestled along the banks of Suzhou Bay in Dong Taihu, the Suzhou Shang Sai Sailing Club is located in a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and Jiangsu provincial-level ecological tourism resort. With a beautiful environment and high-quality water resources, it can accommodate up to 200 people for water sports activities simultaneously.
Adhering to the service philosophy of ‘Enjoy·Compete·Live’, the club offers a variety of water tourism activities centered around sailing, including sailing tours of Suzhou Bay, family water sports experiences (sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, rubber boats, catamarans, etc.), corporate water-based team-building activities, and youth sailing training camps.
In addition, to further enhance the capacity and influence of inland cities in hosting water sports events and to drive innovation and improvement in water sports through the power of Suzhou culture, the club has successfully organized various professional-scale events such as business school sailing races and corporate sailing competitions. It has gradually developed into a sailing training base for a series of business schools and domestic universities, including Tongji University EMBA, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Antai College of Economics and Management EMBA, Guanghua School of Management, and Xiamen University EMBA.
The club has also been awarded the title of ‘Sailingin Sailing School East China Training Base’, ‘Officially Certified Branch of the American Sailing Association’, and ‘Jiangsu Province Youth Sailing Training Base’ by the Jiangsu Sailing and Windsurfing Sports Association. Each year, nearly a hundred sailing enthusiasts successfully obtain ASA certification.
Starting from the club, relying on the high-quality water conditions of Suzhou Bay, with tourism as the norm, events as the fulcrum, and training as the reinforcement, the club is gradually shaping into a water sports life and tourism circle with distinctive Suzhou cultural IP features.
