Changgang Mountain Village is located in the central part of Chengdong Street, Dinghai District, Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. It is a suburban area and one of the five urban villages under the jurisdiction of the street. It is adjacent to Zizhu Community and Dongqiao Village, with convenient transportation and a superior geographical location. The village is divided into three production teams, with a registered population of 311 people, 89 registered households, and a temporary population of 163. There are 3 village officials, 12 party members, and 21 villagers’ representatives. The village has 60 acres of mountain land, 970 acres of forest land, 30 acres of fruit orchards, and 30 acres of tea gardens. In 2008, the total collective economic income of the village was 237,300 yuan, with a per capita income of 10,203 yuan for the villagers.
