Wuxi Underwater World is located in the Li Lake Central Park. It is relatively small in size, making it an ideal place for children to learn and be entertained. Here, you can see the clumsy sea turtles, the precious Chinese sturgeon, and the lemon sharks with lemon-colored bellies, among others. There are also animal performances to enjoy. The exterior of Wuxi Underwater World resembles a fairy-tale castle. Upon entering, you first pass through the tropical rainforest area to see various uniquely shaped tropical fish. In the river fish specimen hall, you can observe the skeleton of a sperm whale. Then, you walk through a 20-meter-long underwater tunnel to watch large marine fish swimming overhead and enjoy the small fish around the reef in the cylindrical tank. The lobby of the Underwater World also features a shark-human dance performance. The entire venue is open from January 1st to December 31st, from 09:00 to 17:00, with the last admission at 16:30.
