Jinyuan Garden is located in Tongli Ancient Town, Jiangsu Province. It is the former residence of Chen Wangdao, an imperial censor in Nanjing during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The Shi Yu Fang was built by the emperor to commend his achievements. Entering this garden composed of pavilions, natural mountains and forests, pools and docks, and rural scenery, it is exquisite, delicate, simple and reveals a touch of elegance, just like walking into a gentle and pleasant Pingtan.
