The wildlife resources are also very rich, with over 30 species of mammals from 3 orders, 120 species of birds from 7 orders and 30 families, and 40 species of amphibians and reptiles from 3 orders. Additionally, there are 16 species of nationally protected animals such as the pangolin, and 12 species of provincially protected wildlife.

Moreover, Atuoling National Forest Park is located in the central part of Wuzhishan, with a tropical rainforest monsoon climate, warm in winter and cool in summer, characterized by low temperatures and abundant rainfall in the summer, and a mild and humid autumn, making it spring-like all year round. Although Atuoling does not have the towering and majestic reputation of Huangshan, Emei, or Mount Tai, climbing Atuoling offers a broad view, an open mind, and a panoramic view of the vast greenery. The city’s entirety is within sight, with misty clouds and rolling waves, presenting a spectacular and beautiful scenery… It is a place with a very unique side, suitable for developing hiking, mountain viewing, and other touring projects.

Entering the forest along the mountain road allows one to admire various types of trees and listen to the sounds of various birds and insects.

The park is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day, with specific business hours subject to daily conditions.
