The Ba Dou Zi fishing harbor is often seen with spread-out stone flower vegetables and row upon row of ‘fish sheds’; this is a famous fish processing factory where catches such as squid, anchovies, four-break fish, and flying fish roe are processed. Wangyou Valley, located between Ba Dou Zi and Changtanli, is a V-shaped valley with lush green grass and undulating terrain. One can gaze upon the Ba Dou Zi fishing harbor up close and the Keelung Island in the sea from afar, and also descend via steps. Following the trail along the cliff top, you can reach a beach about 20 meters wide, where geological landscapes such as sea-eroded platforms and tofu rocks are scattered. The beach, with its combination of sand and rocks, is suitable for activities like shell collecting, crab catching, and tidal play. If you ascend the hilltop platform along the circular mountain road, the view from here is breathtaking, with vast expanses of azure waves. At night, the scattered fishing lights on the sea and the lights along the coastal highway complement each other, creating a beautiful night scene.
