Beihai Golden Gulf Mangrove Ecological Tourism Area

Located in the eastern part of the Beihai Silver Beach National Tourism Resort in Guangxi, the Beihai Golden Gulf Mangrove Ecological Tourism Area (hereinafter referred to as the Golden Gulf Mangrove Scenic Area) is nestled along the winding Longtan Da Guan Sha coastline, covering an area of approximately 20 square kilometers. The Golden Gulf Mangrove Scenic Area is primarily characterized by its mangroves and the Danjia culture, with excellent ecological conditions, beautiful scenery, lush green mangroves, clear blue waves, unique customs, and fascinating attractions.

The area boasts about 3,000 acres of layered and verdant mangroves, where flocks of egrets and migratory birds either dance gracefully or rest peacefully. On the tidal flats where the mangroves grow, marine life such as fiddler crabs, mudskippers, and shellfish are ubiquitous, making it a rare marine biodiversity conservation area in China.

The distinctive Danjia Folk Custom Park is composed of a Danjia-style corridor, exhibition hall, performance area, expansion zone, leisure and shopping center, Danjia cuisine area, entertainment zone, and beachcombing area, vividly showcasing the living customs of the seafarers. The passionate Danjia style performances are particularly characteristic.

The ‘Beihai Tide’ China Beihai International Outdoor Dynamic Sculpture Gallery is a large outdoor dynamic sculpture gallery in China, featuring creative works from 12 masters, including the president of the International Kinetic Sculpture Association, Larr Fonse, from four countries.

The ‘Great Beachcombing’ Paradise is a traditional beachcombing site for the Danjia people, rich in seafood products, especially the specialty ‘sandworms’. Thousands of Danjia fishermen beachcomb here daily, digging for clams, sandworms, catching crabs, and feeling for shrimp.
