Located next to the Fish Dive into the Sea Square in Beihai Silver Beach Resort, Ocean Wonders Aquarium focuses on parent-child ocean interaction with an exquisite layout that connects indoor and outdoor areas. It features ‘Bullet Time’ imaging with hundreds of digital cameras, marine life cultural science popularization, and mermaid performances, all integrated into a themed ocean hall.
The aquarium consists of two floors. The first floor primarily showcases fish species such as lionfish, pufferfish, yellow foxes, and wolf eels, as well as exhibits of shells, conchs, and starfish, various handicrafts made from shells, and dolls of mermaids and dolphins for sale.
The second floor mainly displays various types of jellyfish, including Red Moon Jellyfish, Australian Spot Jellyfish, Cannonball Jellyfish, Atlantic Jellyfish, and Papua Stinger Jellyfish. The aquarium is open all year round from 09:00 to 21:30. The preferential policy for children is as follows: children under 6 years old (not included) or under 1.2 meters in height (not included) enter for free; each adult can accompany one free child (additional children require a ticket).
