Yuehu Terrace Music Fountain, also known as Suzhou Taihu Bay Music Fountain, is located within the Suzhou Bay Golden Lake Shore Tourism Area in Wujiang District, Suzhou, facing the Taihu Bay Theater. On the elongated, oval-shaped platform lies an impressive large music fountain that extends 305 meters from north to south.
Operational hours and specific business status are subject to the day’s opening conditions. Essential tips: Since March 2021, if there is a performance at Suzhou Bay Grand Theater, Yuehu Terrace Music Fountain will be open before or after the show. However, the music fountain is subject to the day’s weather conditions and will be closed under the following circumstances:

(1) On the day of operation, if the meteorological bureau reports rain (with a probability of more than fifty percent);

(2) On the day of operation, if the meteorological bureau reports a northwest wind of level 4 or above;

(3) If there are faults or maintenance (inspection) of the music fountain facilities and equipment;

(4) If the water level of Taihu Lake exceeds the high water level designed for the fountain;
