Nam Wan Park, also known as Gas Lantern Garden, is divided into two distinct sections: the lower part is situated between Nam Wan Road and Ga Lao Tang Street; the upper part is further divided into two levels, connected by stone steps, and is located between Ga Lao Tang Street Barracks Lane, Gas Lantern New Road, and Dong Wang Yang New Street. The upper part of the Nam Wan Garden is at the foot of Dong Yang Mountain, featuring a rather unique cylindrical building, two stories high, which serves as the World War I Memorial, commemorating the fallen Portuguese soldiers of the Great War. The exterior of the museum features round-arched doors and windows, with walls adorned with circular patterned decorations, and a crown-shaped ornament on top, which is quite eye-catching. It has now been transformed into an association for disabled persons. The garden is open all year round and offers accessibility services: accessible entrance.
