Hainan Baihua Ridge Tropical Rainforest Cultural Tourism Area

The heart of Hainan, a treasure trove of greenery. Located in Yinggen Town, Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County, Hainan, the Hainan Baihua Ridge Tropical Rainforest Cultural Tourism Area boasts a main peak over 1100 meters above sea level. It is a national AAAA-level scenic spot in central Hainan that integrates sightseeing, scientific research, and leisure entertainment, known for its ‘Fairyland of Flowers, Magical Rainforest, Paradise of Southern Medicine, and Health Resort’.


The scenic area features overlapping peaks, towering ancient trees, entwined vines, and climbing plants, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 90%. The average temperature is 22 degrees Celsius, making it warm in winter and cool in summer, with high levels of negative oxygen ions. It is rich in rainforest flora and fauna, making it an ideal place to escape the cold and heat.

The famous Baihua Waterfall within the scenic area has a drop of over 300 meters, combining the qualities of being peculiar, beautiful, majestic, and aesthetically pleasing. The area retains its complete original ecology and is rich in the ethnic customs of the Li and Miao minorities. The rainforest natural landscape is abundant, with areas such as the Bodhi Secret Realm, Valley of Love, and Waterfall Plank Road, featuring unique rainforest wonders like Baihua Tianchi, Tianqin Tree, and Lianhua Stone.


The scenic area also features a distinctive rainforest zip-line that is over 2000 meters long. The treetop plank road offers an open view, making it highly观赏able and experiential. The entire area is open year-round from 09:00 to 18:00.


Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) enjoy free entry (no discount on sightseeing bus tickets); children between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.4 meters (inclusive) receive discounts. Elderly people aged 70 and above (with ID) enjoy free entry. Sightseeing bus tickets are not discounted and must be paid for on-site.
