The Hualien Rose Stone Art Museum mainly displays many beautiful rose stones. The characteristic of rose stones is that there are irregular colors and patterns formed by natural actions on the stones. After artificial cutting and polishing, patterns of celestial phenomena, landforms or other artistic conceptions can be presented, just like landscape paintings. Hualien is the main producing area of rose stones in Taiwan, especially in the basins of Liyu Creek, Sanzhan Creek and Mugua Creek.
Opening hours: Open from 13:00 to 17:30 from Tuesday to Thursday throughout the year; Open from 10:00 to 17:30 from Friday to Saturday throughout the year.
