Huayi Brothers Movie World is located in the picturesque Yangcheng Lake Peninsula National Tourism Resort in Suzhou. The design team of Huayi Brothers Movie World has used their imagination to create five major movie-themed areas: ‘Star Boulevard’, ‘If You Are the One’, ‘Assembly’, ‘Tai Chi’, and ‘The Legend of the Dragon’. Combining seven original Huayi Brothers films, they have invited internationally and domestically renowned film artists to break through traditional design methods and recreate the aesthetic of movie scenes. Star Boulevard Area: A grand, dynamic, fashionable, and interesting movie magic book, Star Boulevard serves as the main avenue into Huayi Brothers Movie World and is the first stop for visitors. Inspired by well-known fashion districts and movie holy lands around the world, it is designed by domestic and foreign film artists, incorporating retro and gorgeous architectural styles, soft decoration arrangements related to the film industry, and a star-studded landscape atmosphere. It creates a glittering movie boulevard, allowing visitors to enter the movie world with a star aura and shining stars. At the same time, through interactive exhibitions, professional experiences, performances, and other means, it showcases the history of Chinese film development and reveals the mysteries behind the scenes. The movie professional experience hall – Huayi Brothers Film Academy is located in the Star Boulevard area. In the Film Academy, visitors can appreciate the wisdom of directors, feel the hardships of actors, transform into CG animation characters, and experience the secrets behind the scenes. If You Are the One Area: A romantic love sanctuary, experience the classic ‘Feng-style romance’. Located in the northernmost part of the park, adjacent to Yangcheng Lake, If You Are the One area is a romantic love area themed on Feng Xiaogang’s love comedy film series ‘If You Are the One’. When visitors enter If You Are the One area, it’s as if they are following Qin Fen and Liang Xiaoxiao to relive their process of meeting, knowing, and falling in love. The entire area is artistically embellished based on the original small Otaru architectural style and Hokkaido landscape, showcasing a romantic and fresh modern love resort. At the romantic lighthouse Nanto Cape, from a height of fifty meters, accompanied by the beautiful scenery of Yangcheng Lake, visitors can bravely bungee jump for love and leave a memory of love. Assembly Area: Fun technology plays with military feelings. The Assembly area is a northern city in the 1940s and 1950s, created based on the classic Huayi Brothers film ‘Assembly’. The battlefield area, urban area, and suburban area are presented here, and there is a highlight project VR RIDE ‘Assembly’ in the entire park, recreating the shocking iron-blooded military spirit and revolutionary feelings in the movie. Tai Chi Area: Steampunk mixes with passionate martial arts films. The Tai Chi area is based on the prototypes of the films ‘Tai Chi 0’ and ‘Tai Chi Hero’ directed by Stephen Fung. It fully presents the story of the martial arts weirdo Yang Luchen from an idiot to a generation of masters from architecture, landscape, amusement equipment, and performances.
The park is primarily divided into three sections: the Chenjiagou area, the Mechanical Manufacturing Bureau area, and the Capital City area. Visitors can deeply experience the unique late Qing style that results from the intense collision between Tai Chi Kung Fu and Steampunk. As one of the largest mobile single props in the history of Chinese cinema, the Trojan Horse will also be meticulously recreated in the Tai Chi world, allowing visitors to enter the Trojan Horse and embark on an exciting and thrilling adventure.
The Grand Buddha Kingdom Area: The 75-meter Grand Buddha Tower recreates the magical Tang Dynasty. This area is built around the ‘Detective Dee’ series of fantasy films directed by Tsui Hark, and it restores the divine capital of Luoyang from the movies in terms of architecture, landscape, and business formats. Through entertainment performances, interactive equipment, and story-themed packaging, it tells the story of the divine detective Dee Renjie investigating cases on imperial orders, showcasing a magnificent, resplendent, and ever-changing Tang Dynasty era.
