Huishan is located in the western suburbs of Wuxi, Jiangsu, and is a branch of the Tianmu Mountain range in Zhejiang that extends from east to west. Among the nine peaks of Huishan, three are particularly famous: the First Mao Peak, the Second Mao Peak, and the Third Mao Peak. The highest of these is the Third Mao Peak, which stands at an elevation of 328.98 meters and encompasses an area of approximately 20 square kilometers.
Huishan, also known as Lishan during the Southern Dynasties, is said to have been the place where Emperor Shun once personally farmed. The mountain has nine ridges, commonly referred to as the Nine Dragon Mountain.
