Jinhai Wetland Park is situated within the planning scope of the Shanghai City Ring Green Belt, located in the southwest of Cao Road Town, Pudong New Area, adjacent to the east side of the outer ring road (S20) of Pudong New Area, west of Mintang Road, and south of Jinhai Road. The park’s width varies from 150 to 500 meters from east to west, with a total length of 1.85 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 43.38 hectares, and is positioned as an ecological leisure green space. The wetland park is located at the Jinhai Road exit of the outer ring road (G20) in Pudong, near Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, which is a green belt corridor built in conjunction with the outer ring road construction and was previously closed. The park is quite spacious, with lakes and rivers accounting for about one-third of the total area, and aquatic plants such as reeds and lotus in the lake are lush. Due to the park’s remote location, it is not well-known, and apart from some fishing enthusiasts, only local residents visit in the early morning. The park is open all year round from 05:00 to 21:00.
