Jinshan Temple

Jinshan Temple in Chengmai, Hainan is located in Jinjiang Town, Chengmai County on the connecting line of Jinma Avenue of the west line expressway in Hainan Province. The temple was first built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 1993. The total construction area of the temple is more than 100 mu. With a magnificent scale, it is currently a relatively large Buddhist building in Hainan Province. In 2014, the 88.79-meter-high, 16-story (13 floors above ground and 3 floors underground) Wanfu Longevity Bhaisajyaguru Pagoda in Hainan was completed. It enshrines the relics of the Buddhist master Benhuan. Since then, it has been transformed into the Bhaisajyaguru Dojo. The current abbot of Jinshan Temple is Master Shichangle. Open all year round and all day.
