The Meishan Saltworks Memorial Hall officially opened on June 30, 2016. The memorial hall is located in the ‘Seventy-two Houses’, the former site of the saltworks preparation office, covering an area of more than 460 square meters. The Meishan Saltworks Memorial Hall integrates the functions of collection, display, education, and research, and is committed to commemorating the historical process of establishment and operation, and highlighting the selfless dedication spirit of Meishan salt workers of ‘producing products, cultivating talents, and presenting spirit’.
