Ningbo Science Exploration Center is located to the west of the municipal center and is an interactive science popularization venue themed around ‘exploration’.
The five-story space features numerous interactive experiences related to science that are highly popular among children, including a dome theater. It is an excellent place to bring children to expand their knowledge and enjoy learning through play.

The venue includes areas such as permanent exhibition halls, temporary exhibition halls, a dome theater, a lecture hall, and a multi-function hall. Visitors primarily tour the permanent exhibition halls on the second and third floors, where the interactive activities are more abundant.

The theme on the second floor is ‘Ocean’, ‘Harmonious Home’, and ‘Universe’; the third floor mainly focuses on ‘Human Body and Brain’, ‘Human Skills’, and ‘Joy of Science’.

The dome theater on the fourth floor requires an additional ticket purchase of 30 yuan, but it is well worth the experience. Audiences can recline and enjoy the projections on the giant dome screen, with an extremely impressive audio-visual effect.
