This is a unique citizen leisure street named ‘Shanghai 1930 Style Street’. It is part of the exhibition content of the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. In the 1930s, the relatively avant-garde architectural boom in Europe and America was reflected in Shanghai. On the facades on both sides of this more than 50-meter-long leisure street are condensed buildings in British, French, Spanish, Japanese and other styles that reflect the urban charm of this era. At several entrances and exits, the representative work of Shanghai residences – Shikumen alleys – is incorporated. For each individual building here, old Shanghai can find its prototype and source. On this street, there are also Shanghai teahouses, tiger stoves, cafes, Shikumen parlors and old-fashioned fire hydrants in a 1:1 ratio. Coupled with the changing sky curtain, it seems to bring tourists into the urban area of old Shanghai in the 1930s, leaving a lasting aftertaste. Open all year round from 08:00 to 22:00. The specific business status is subject to the opening situation on the day.
