Qingliang Pavilion, originally named Zhiyi Pavilion, derives its name from the phrase ‘Zhi bi Fei xi, zhan wang mu xi’ from the ‘Book of Songs’. It was built by Huang Guo, a notable figure from the Xinhai Revolution, in 1928 in memory of his mother.
Xuguang Terrace, constructed on the hilltop resembling a peninsula, is an ideal spot on Mount Mogan for watching the sunrise and appreciating the mountain scenery. Climbing to Xuguang Terrace offers a panoramic view of Mount Mogan, with its varied buildings and bamboo villas, forming a vast natural painting that is truly breathtaking.
