Suzhou Guanyin Temple is named after Qili Ji who lived in seclusion here in the early Han Dynasty. The temple was first built in 425 AD. In the third year of Daye in the Sui Dynasty, it was destroyed in a big fire. The current Guanyin Temple is rebuilt later.
