The Thousand-Step Ladder is located at the foot of the mountain in Zhengao, Sanjia, Longwan District, on the east side of Daluo Mountain in Wenzhou. Initially, it was built as an auxiliary mountain road for the construction of the water pipeline from Tianhe Reservoir to the hydropower station. The Thousand-Step Ladder of Daluo Mountain connects Longwan District in the east, links Ruian City in the south, spans Ouhai District in the west, and backs against the Oujiang River for a hundred miles in the north. The mountain body is elliptical and is a natural barrier for the urban area of Wenzhou. Daluo Mountain is close to the East China Sea, with an expansive momentum and auspicious purple qi coming from the east, giving birth to graceful and beautiful natural scenery.
