West Bund Art Museum is located along the Xuhui Binjiang in Shanghai. The architectural design was undertaken by the architecture firm led by British architect David Chipperfield over a three-year period, with a construction area of 25,000 square meters. In addition to three main exhibition halls dedicated to presenting permanent and special exhibition pieces, the museum’s interior display space also includes a special project space called ‘Gallery 0’, as well as an underground floor composed of a multifunctional hall, boxes, and the ‘Smart Manufacturing Exhibition Hall’ which includes studios, playgrounds, and children’s workshops. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00, from January 1st to December 31st; closed all day on Mondays, with the second-floor exhibition hall closed on Mondays; the first floor and B1 floor are open from 10:00 to 22:00.
