Wuzhishan Li Dong Cultural Park is located at the foot of the first peak of Wuzhi Mountain in Shuiman Township, Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province. It covers a planned area of 3,352 mu and has 36 construction areas and landscapes. The investment is about 3.3 billion yuan. It is an experiential scenic spot.
Since the inauguration ceremony of the huge statue of Li Zu Paolongkou in 2014, it has been designated by the Hainan provincial government as the eternal address for worshipping Li ancestors in the province’s large-scale ‘March 3rd’ activities every year. Grand ancestor worship ceremonies have been successfully held in successive years.
The Li Zu Grand Hall is backed by high mountains. The hall and the first peak of Wuzhi Mountain are on the same main axis. Commanding a height, it is magnificent. The positioning of ‘one park, three places’ of the scenic area endows it with special highlights: It is the spiritual home of the Li people; it is a cultural holy place for Li compatriots to worship their ancestors; it is a base for displaying, researching, inheriting and experiencing Li culture, reflecting the development process of Li culture more completely, deeply and meticulously; it is also a tourist attraction and leisure and health preservation resort that combines Li culture, famous Wuzhi Mountain and tropical rainforest. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:30 to 17:30. Preferential policies: Children: Those under 0.8 meters (excluding) in height are exempt from scenic area tickets. Elderly: Those aged 70 years old (including) and above with senior citizen card or ID card are exempt from scenic area tickets. Active servicemen: With military officer card, they are exempt from scenic area tickets. National medical workers: With doctor’s license or nurse’s license, they are exempt from scenic area tickets. Hainan Li nationality citizens: With ID card, they are exempt from scenic area tickets.
