Xiuhu Lake is located in Tianxia Yuyuan Scenic Area, Yuyao City, Ningbo. It covers an area of 165 mu. The lake scenery is beautiful. The lake shore is winding and stretching. The brook winds and murmurs. Pavilions, terraces and towers are scattered in an orderly manner. Flowers, plants and trees set off each other, just like a beautiful young girl. Moreover, the character ‘Xiu’ has the same pronunciation as the character ‘Xiu’ in Xiuyu. Most of the landscape jades in Tianxia Yuyuan are exquisitely carved from Xiuyu. Therefore, Xiuhu Lake gets its name. There are three legendary fairy islands, Penglai, Yingzhou and Fangzhang, in Xiuhu Lake.
The opening hours are all day long throughout the year.
