Yehliu Geopark is an excellent choice for family outings with children or for friends to capture stunning photos and enjoy breathtaking views. Among the many impressive rocks, the Queen’s Head stands out. This rock formation resembles a queen wearing a crown, and its majestic appearance has become a symbol of Yehliu Geopark. In addition to the Queen’s Head, Yehliu Geopark has also developed special geological landscapes such as sea-eroded caves, honeycomb rocks, tofu stones, mushroom rocks, and candle-shaped rocks over tens of thousands of years due to sea erosion, crustal movements, and weathering. The park is open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00, with extended summer hours from 09:00 to 18:00. Concessions include free entry for children under 6 years old or under 115 cm in height, and half-price for children aged 6 (inclusive) to 12 (exclusive). For the disabled: those with physical or mental disabilities (holding a disability handbook issued by the competent authority) and one accompanying guardian or necessary companion enter for free. Free services include luggage storage, with the reference price being free, located within the scenic area, and available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Stroller rental is available at a price depending on the specific conditions of the scenic area. Baby strollers and wheelchairs are provided for infants and visitors with mobility difficulties. As all scenic spots in the park are located along the coast, please follow the warning signs within the park and do not cross the red lines to avoid getting wet from splashing waves or being swept into the sea. Do not touch any special geological formations to accelerate their weathering and destruction. 2. Smoking, touching, climbing, riding bicycles, playing in the water, swimming, fishing, and digging are prohibited. 3. Summer visits can be very sunny, with no shading in the scenic area, so it is recommended to take sun protection measures.
