The Yongkang Great Wall Scenic Area is located in Yuanzhou Village, Jiangnan Street, Yongkang City, and was constructed with the assistance of the city’s design institute.
The Yongkang Great Wall starts from the ‘Junzi Pavilion’ at the foot of the village and ends at the ‘Dishuiyan Beacon Tower’ on the mountaintop. Along the way, ornamental plants such as snow maples, red photinias, and red maples are planted.
Although it is modeled after the Badaling Great Wall, it has its own unique charm.
At night, when the lights on the Great Wall are turned on, the steps appear to be like ice sculptures under the soft blue light, clear and translucent, warm and jade-like. The color of the lights begins to change over time, transitioning from soft blue to a colorful spectrum, much like the kaleidoscope of childhood play, adding a dazzling landscape to the Great Wall.
The scenic area is open all year round from 08:00 to 21:00.
