Zhi Shan Yan, with an elevation of approximately 52 meters, is a small hill located at the foot of Yangming Mountain in Shilin District, Taipei. The wooden plank road on the mountain is one of Taipei’s renowned walking trails, where visitors can enjoy the lush greenery of towering ancient trees and a wealth of cultural landscapes, making it an ideal destination for family hikes. The hiking intensity is not high, and the entire trail can typically be completed in about half an hour. Tourists can take the MRT to Zhi Shan Station and walk back along Fuguo Road to Zhongshan North Road Section 5, then ascend the Fulin Bridge embankment. Alternatively, one can disembark at Shilin Station and follow Zhongshan North Road to reach Fulin Bridge, where one can enjoy a riverside walk.
